What to do next
Choosing a therapist can be difficult - opening up can be daunting and it is important to feel safe and comfortable with your therapist. I recommend getting in touch with a few to see a best fit.
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:
Therapy is not an emergency service, so if you need help urgently, please do contact 111 (or 999 for life threatening emergencies) or you can call 116 123 to talk to Samaritans, who are available 24/7 (or email jo@samaritans.org for a reply within 24 hours). The mental health charity Mind has coping strategies for how to cope during a crisis, which may also be helpful.
If you would like to get in touch for an online consultation to see if we would be a good fit to work together, please send me an email in the first instance (email: calminthestorm@gmail.com). Please include your name and the reason you are interested in therapy.
If I feel I can help with what you have indicated you would like support with, I will offer a free 20 minute online consultation, to help determine if we will be a good fit to work together and to revisit what you are hoping to get out of therapy - this will not be a therapy session, just an introduction to each other with no obligations. If you would like to get in touch to see if we can work together, please send me an email (as above).
PRICING
My aim is to make therapy as accessible as possible. Although I cannot offer free sessions, I have a few spaces for those who are on a tight budget - if this is you, please do let me know during the consultation.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £45
A Consultation is 20 minutes and is free (this is not a therapy session)
